The Jefferson Davis 8

Image
From 2005-2009 in Jefferson Davis Parish, Louisiana, eight women are discovered murdered. All of the women seem to be connected to one another with their connections to sex work and drugs. However, this story has so many unknowns and possible corruption. Are the cops covering up for the murder (or murders) or is the serial killer still at large? The Murder of Matthew Margolies

Image
In 1984, after the recent death of his grandfather, 13 year old Matthew Margolies was trying to make the most of his remaining summer vacation. No one would have known that day as he headed off to fish would be the last time that he would be seen by his family.  Matthew had spent many days along the river fishing with his grandfather in Greenwich, Connecticut. However, after his grandfather passed away, he still spent a lot of time with his grandmother including the night before he went missing. He woke up that morning on August 31, 1984 like so many others, and had gotten his fishing poles and gear together to go fish along the river.  Around 5:30 that evening, a few witnesses recalled seeing him but this was the last time the teen was seen alive. His mother became very concerned when he didn't return home when he said he would. Matthew was a responsible kid, kind kid. This was not like him at all. He always asked for permission and was a latchkey kid within the first generation o

The Lewiston-Clarkston Valley Serial Killer

Image
From the late 1970's into the mid-1980's, disappearances and murders rocked the quaint metropolitan area along Northeastern Washington and Northern Idaho known as the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley. Over the years, suspects have been ruled out, some bodies found while others are still missing... but the biggest question is who  is the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley serial killer. Although they are 4 cases that definitely attributed to this series of killings, a fifth is also widely accepted as being another victim of the killer. The first disappearance occurred in 1979 and the last in 1984. Going forward, we will be outlining each victim and then a few suspects. Despite having so many victims, the case has gone cold although many believe they know who the killer truly is.  Christina White Christina White was a hyperactive 12 year old girl from Asotin, Washington who had been at a friend's house after a local parade on April 28, 1979. She had been known to get sick from being overheat

Their mother, Beth Ann Bodenschatz, had been murdered.  Beth Ann was a registered nurse at nearby Lee Hospital. She led a quiet life with her husband and children in that small town. A small town that was shocked to it's core the day she was murdered and still echoes some of the same sentiment to this day.  The fourth Bodenschatz child, a five year old son, was home during the murder. He reported to police that he heard his mother arguing with the man and that he saw that the man had gun. His mother started yelling at the man who had brown hair and a brown jacket.  Once on the scene, police believe that the intruder may have been a home invader. Neighbors reported seeing a vehicle that may have been similar to a Suburu car parked at the end

After Hendrickson was gone, Holder told police that he and Samantha decided to take a 4 wheeler ride. Holder claims that the 4 wheeler got stuck in the mud close to dark. Instead of trying to walk back to his home or to find a road for help, they stayed in the woods all night. They used the 4 wheeler for warmth until it ran out of gas. They finally walked out of the woods that morning. However, instead of going the same direction, Holder went on way and Sperry the opposite way. This is the last time t
