The Murder of Aisha Dickson

On a cold January day in 1995, 8 month Aisha Dickson was found dead after her family called 911.  On January 6, 1995, Aisha was loving in an apartment with her mother, Sarah Johnson, her father, DeShawn Dickson, and her maternal grandmother, June Johnson. That day, baby Aisha had been discovered in her crib not breathing. Bangor, Maine police responded to the apartment on Bald Mountain Drive.  It was determined that Aisha Dickson's cause of death was blunt force trauma to the head. However almost every single bone in her body was broken. Her first injury occurred within the first few months of her life. Sarah also couldn't explain how she didn't know of Aisha's previous injuries. Not long before her death, she was also seen at her doctor's office. Despite consistently being underweight, it didn't raise any flags with her doctor's office.  All three adults present in the home denied involvement in her death. The Murder of Karen Marchioni

Just after 11 am on October 8, 2001, a frantic 911 call came in from 41 year old Karen Marchioni saying she had been attacked in her apartment. She was later discovered in her Framingham, Massachusetts apartment and airlifted to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. Karen was a mother who had been struggling with alcohol and substance abuse. Her daughter Julie was from her first marriage. That marriage ended in 1990. At the time of her murder, she was going through a divorce from her second husband.  Just a few days prior to her murder, Karen stopped by the home of her first husband who lived close by with their daughter. She stated that she was afraid to go home but didn't elaborate as to why. Neighbors also reported that around the time of her murder that they saw strangers in her yard. Her second husband was in jail at the time of her murder. He had been convicted on assault and battery charges against Karen in October 2000. That same month is when she married Steven

On February 11, 1988, 12 year old Jie Zhao Li was going door to door selling tickets for a class fundraiser. She would never return home.  Jie was given a watch by her mother before she started to go door to door in her neighborhood in Honolulu, Hawaii. She told her mother that she would be back by 6 pm and then left the family's apartment on Nuuanu Avenue. The Li family had only moved to Hawaii just three years prior from China.  The last sighting of Jie was just a few blocks from her home at a 7-11. She was approaching people going into or out of the store. She was seen talking to man around this time. Witnesses said that he was a white male around six feet tall with dark blonde hair. He was said to be between 30-35 years old. A sketch was done of this man and he was considered a suspect. On the morning of January 12, 1984, 7 year old Gary Grant Jr told his mom, May,, he had an appointment that day. That was the last time he was seen alive.  The Disappearance of Gary Grant Jr Gary Jr left home around noon. While it was an odd choice of words, his mom just assumed her was being a silly kid saying he had an appointment. She thought he was just meeting up with his friends. When she asked who it was with, the boy replied that it was a secret. Gary Jr told his mom that he would be back home around four that afternoon. The night of December 26, 2004 was a busy night at Casual Male Big and Tall Store with the holidays. No one knew the tragedy that was to come. That night the bodies of Jessica Watson and Matthew Macerato we discovered after they did not come home from their shift.  Who were Jessica and Matthew? Jessica Watson was a 22 year old single mom who was studying at Delaware State University. According to her family, she was friendly and loved helping people. She had worked at Casual Male for one year and was recently promoted to assistant manager.  Matthew Macerato was 18 years old. He came from a big family. According to those who knew him, he was soft spoken and was planning a career in music. Matthew had only worked at the store for one week. On the morning of December 19, 2017, 17 yesr old Nathaniel Holmes was dropped off at school by his mom. He has never been seen again.  That morning when his mom dropped him off at Hidden Lake High School in Westminster, Colorado was just a normal morning. She was planning on picking him up that afternoon. His dad, Ben, had custody of Nathaniel since his parents divorce nine years earlier.  According to his father, Nathaniel had gotten into trouble recently. He was transferred from his online school to Hidden Lake about five weeks prior to his disappearance after falling behind on his studies. The night of December 18th, according to his father, Nathaniel appeared to be on something. On May 23, 1979 Susan Sayles spoke with her mother. Just an hour later, she was murdered in her home. Susan was originally from Austin, Minnesota but had moved to away and was working as a secretary for the University of Minnesota Dental School. While she was at the University of Minnesota, she met a dental student and they became involved. She was planning on moving to Fargo, North Dakota with him.  But on that May day, after she didn't show up for work, a friend and coworker went to her home to check on her. That is when her body was discovered. Susan had been sexually assaulted and strangled. Over 100 pieces of evidence was collected from the scene. This was also one of the first cases that a psychological profile was developed. The case went cold but has been reopened a few times in the hopes that advances in testing would solve the case. On the morning of October 19, 1982, 17 year old Mindi Chambers walked her stepsisters to school in Tempe, Arizona. That was the last time they would see Mindi.  A History of Tragedy In 1968, Mindi's mother was murdered. Mary was drowned in the bathtub of their home. Her father, Allen was a suspect but never charged. When Mindi was 2 years old, her father went to prison on unrelated charges. From this time until the age of 7, Mindi lived with her grandmother.  When Allen was released, Mindi went back to living with him. The Days Leading Up to Mindi's Disappearance  Then, just a few days before she disappeared, Mindi reported to police that her father had been molesting her for years. They immediately placed her with her stepmother who was separated from her father at the time. The couple were divorcing. However, CPS quickly dropped the investigation. In 1987, stable hand Timothy Guy was last seen getting into a car with a man named Jeff at Sleepy Fox Farms in Forsyth, Georgia.  Timothy had recently moved to Forsyth from Snellville, Georgia. He had a learning disability which made him act younger than he was according to his family. Tim, as his family called him, had become a stable hand on the horse farm.  Other workers at Sleepy Fox Farms said that they last saw Tim around 9:00 p.m. on February 7, 1987. The foreman, Phillip Klinger, provided the following information about the mysterious "Jeff". Jeff was driving a 1972-1974 Chevy Impala. He was "big boned" with a muscular build and had brown hair and a beard. His last name is not known.  The Guy family questions if Jeff was even a real person. Due to Phillip Klinger's history of numerous arrests and the information that Warren Guy, Tim's dad, learned from a man named Tom Black. The night of November 21, 1997 was much like many other nights for Jodie Lynn Bordeaux and her husband, Shawn, until they heard noises outside their home.  Jodie and Shawn lived in a farmhouse on the Kickapoo reservation. After hearing these noises, they got up from watching tv to investigate. Jodie had stepped outside her home and that is when she was shot. As Shawn was calling 911, he was desperately attempting CPR on his wife knowing that she was gone in an effort to possibly save their baby. The shot that killed Jodie also killed their unborn baby she was carrying.  Jodie was a part of the management team at the Golden Eagle Casino on the Kickapoo Reservation in Powhattan, Kansas. While it seems that she enjoyed her job, she was having issues with an employee. This employee was terminated but he filed a grievance against Jodie. As a result of this, Jodie was also let go from her job at the time, although she was petitioning the Kickapoo Tribal Council to get her job back. Around th

In the small town of Alma, Arkansas, 6 year old Morgna Nick is abducted from a little league game. Her mother has never given up the search.  On the night of June 9, 1995, Morgan and her mother, Colleen, went to a little league game. Colleen reluctantly let Morgan go play with friends who wanted to catch fireflies around 10:30 p.m. Once the game ended, Colleen saww the other kids but not Morgan. When she asked where her daughter was the kids replied she was near their car. However, once Colleen arrived at the car, Morgan was nowhere to be found.  The kids told police that they saw Morgan around 10:45 p.m. emptying sand from her shoes near her family car. They also revealed that there was a "creepy" man talking to Morgan around this time.  Other witnesses describe seeing a man in his 20s-30s with combed back, salt and pepper hair. In June 1984, Sherry Lynn Marler got a dollar from her stepfather to go get a soda while he took care of some business at the bank. This was the last time he would see her ever again.  June 6, 1984 in Greenville, Alabama, 13 year old Sherry Lynn Marler was out running errands that morning with her stepdad, Raymond Stringfellow. They went to the First National Bank where he gave her money to buy a drink across the street at a gas station. Raymond told Sherry to meet him at their truck that was parked behind a nearby furniture store in 15 minutes. He wasn't too concerned when he arrived at the truck and she wasn't there. However, another 15 minutes passed and he became concerned. He called down the Waffle House where Sherry's mom, Betty, worked to see if she had gone to visit her at work.  At 11:46 a.m., Sherry Lynn Marler was reported missing and the search began.
